Adriana Paz, also known as Adriana Polo, is a Mexican actor and singer. She started her musical career at the age of sixteen in her native Spain, where she acted in musicals and Spanish movies. She has gone on to play different characters in a number of Spanish-language films, which earned her a reputation for being an excellent actress.
In the late eighties, she made her first appearance on a Spanish soap opera, el primo. It was here that she gained notice as a child-aged actress who looked and acted young, a role that many actresses had to accept in those times. Later on, she continued to gain prominence as a leading woman in films, winning critical acclaim for her performances in the movie “Sandra Bullock: American Girls” in 1986. Later on, she went on to play the lead character in the TV series “La Vida”. Adriana Paz also appeared in the TV series “La Maseo” as well as the movie “Punky Juice” for which she was nominated for an Academy Award. However, her most famous role to date would have to be in the movie “Amores Perros” as well as the English-language movie “The Perfect Woman”.
