Abigail Vance was born in Louisiana. She is half white and half black with brown eyes and dark hair. She has been said to be the “perfect African American” with genes that produce “little people.” In recent years, she has been in the public spotlight as the mother of two children, Autumnwood (born in 1998), and Tiana (born in 2021) whom she adored as a baby.
While no definitive evidence exists linking her parents to her birth, she has maintained that both of them were strong believers in the importance of height and size. In the book “Priceless,” Abigail claims that her parents had always encouraged her to be tall and vivacious, and that perhaps this contributed to her stunted growth when she was younger. The birth of their first child prompted them to build a tree house for her where they could keep an eye on her while at work during the day.
Abigail grew into a pretty woman, who appeared to take after her mother. She worked hard to be beautiful and outgoing, even attending ballroom dancing classes as a young woman. However, it was not until she began writing that she had the opportunity to step away from the traditional role models that she had been used to try her hand at something different. Her own childhood experience may have been what prompted her to write about height growth and to begin her quest for understanding herself and others.
