A Harsh Love Story

Yasmin Shariff is a Ugandan-born British national, known mainly for her public defense of women’s rights in the world of architecture, environmentalism and academic study. She is also known as “Mother Agnes” due to her strong belief that a mother’s love for her children is sufficient reason to support them regardless of their race, color or religion. She has been called by various names such as “The Queen of Diamonds” due to her success in getting a settlement for the rape and murder of a fellow student by the military in 1994. Following this, she was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, which she finally won in 2021. In 2021, she moved to Britain to live with her partner, Richard Fox, a renowned explorer and conservationist.

At first, it seemed that everything had gone well between the two, especially after the birth of their first child, Sasha. But in 2021, things became more complicated when they discovered that Richard was not just their partner, but also their son, born several months earlier than their planned arrival. This was a shocking turn of events for both of them, because they had always believed that marriage was between a man and a woman, and not between a man and a woman. Their relationship soured and they separated for good.

The story does not end there, because Richard and Yasmin remained committed to each other and resolved not to split up again. They were forced to acknowledge the fact that there was indeed a very big difference in their ages, despite the age difference of just over 4 years. This caused Richard to rethink his commitment to marrying Yasmin, realizing the depth of his mistake. The truth of what really happened between them and their subsequent separation can only be uncovered once all the evidence has been accumulated.
