Anna Prior has been at the forefront of offering investment banking investment advice to clients of all statuses for over 30 years. Prior has made a name for herself as an insightful, ethical expert in the highly competitive world of private financial investment. She has held senior investment positions with both institutions and independent venture capitalists. Prior has also served for many years as a staff member of the prestigious National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA). Anna Prior is a staff writer for The Wall Street Journal’s Money blog. She also covers compliance and regulatory issues for independent financial planners.

I’ve read a number of Gabby Stebbing’s books, including “Why We Want You To Be Rich,” so I was intrigued by her inclusion of Anna Prior in “The Secrets of Successful Executive Women: Creating the Life You Want while Doing it Smart,” a new e-book from Gabby herself. Prior has also made appearances on numerous radio talk shows, including ESPN’s “The Sports Show.” As a result, I was eager to review this book and gauge her performance as an expert, as well as what lessons could be learned from her experience. I believe that Anna Prior’s strength comes from her desire to help people achieve their own sense of personal success, regardless of status or station in life. Her writing style is clear, concise, and enjoyable to read. One of the things I like most about Anna Prior’s writing style is that she is not condescending, and her language is accessible to a general audience.

In this book, however, I felt that Anna Prior did not pay sufficient attention to drum music, considering it too niche an area to explore. That being said, I still enjoyed this lively little book, and found it to be entertaining even if I’m not a huge fan of drums. I would, however, recommend this to a person who is relatively familiar with the genre and who enjoys having something to read on a rainy day.
