Luisa D’Oliveira was born in Barbados, where her family owned a fishing ship. As a child she was always surrounded with people from all over the world, especially in her grandmother’s homeland of Brazil. D’Oliveira then attended Le Cordon Bleu in Barbados where she excelled in academics and did well in sports, winning a place on the swim team. After graduating she went on to do a master’s degree at University in Canada, focusing on education and working as an educator.
Luisa D’Oliveira is an exceptionally talented actress whose resume spans over several decades, starting with her first notable acting role in the early 80s in the film Percy Jackson and the Olympians. D’Oliveira then had significant part in the television dramas 24, revolving around the life of FBI Special Agent Caravelle. From this period she also worked on several other television programs including an interesting series starring as a Spanish doctor with the same name, in the English language.
