She still enjoys participating in the sport by going out with her partner, Mike Massey. She states that snowboarding was one of her greatest sports growing up as she loved the thrill of skiing down the steep slopes. Lisa also stated that she loves the wide variety of styles of skiing and rides available today.

According to Lisa, the moment she began seriously considering turning into a snowboarder when she was in her teens, it seemed like an easier sport compared to other more serious hobbies that she had pursued throughout her life. She has always enjoyed skiing as well as snowboarding, however, it was not until her friend recommended she try snow boarding that she really became interested in trying it out. Although it may not be an easy sport for some women to learn, Lisa feels that once she has learned the basics, it will come naturally to her and she will enjoy it for years to come. She feels that this is the profession that she has chosen because it gives her the opportunity to share the love of skiing and snowboarding with her partner.
