Francesca Taruc is a Filipino actress, singer, model and television host best known as her stage name Francesca Taruc. She has appeared in some films and one in particular that was very popular was the remake of Alias. Now, Francesca Taruc is happily married to a man, Mike de Leon. They have been together for about 10 years and live in a peaceful house in their hometown in Baguio City, Philippines. They met when Mike, then a student was helping out at her family’s small store in their town in their hometown when he noticed her performing at a talent show and introduced her to his brother.

When she was in high school, Francesca excelled in her studies and earned a degree in communications. Later in her life she joined the prestigious John F. Kennedy School of Government in Washington D. C. After that she worked as an assistant press secretary and public relations officer for the U. S. State Department, but her career really began to prosper when she got the lead role in the highly-rated romantic comedy Love Actually. From there she went on to play other memorable characters such as Nelly in The Nutty Professor and became one of the biggest celebrities in the Philippines and abroad, right now she is trying her luck playing the lead role in a Hollywood movie entitled The Natatorium. She also appeared in several TV series such as Paglam TV Show and E! The Movie and earned rave reviews from everyone that saw her in those shows.

Nowadays, Francesca is enjoying her love life and pursuing a career. She still loves to act even if it’s just for a role in a TV series or movies. She is very open minded and appreciates people from all walks of life and race for who they are and not what they do. Her motto is “I am what I am” and she loves to share her views on life. She has inspired millions with her positive approach to life and her ever-growing fan base. One thing is for sure, no one will stop loving Francesca Taruc.
