Alice Pasquini is a Brazilian National, born and raised in Quito. Born in 1970, she was the very definition of beauty at an early age; her birthmark that gave her the name “Alice” is testament to this fact. She had a very unusual childhood, being brought up as the child of two Spanish immigrants (her parents having been Brazilian), and being continually stolen at a young age from both of her brothers. Her life would be defined by the question of identity; would she be Brazilian or simply British?
It was in this stage of life that Alice turned eighteen and began to look for answers to the question; “Is it OK to be Brazilian?”. After much searching on the internet, she managed to find a Brazilian dating site; after applying to several different ones, she finally found her true partner. Alice began to change physically; losing weight, getting piercings, having numerous cosmetic surgery procedures, and even going as far as having an ear-like mole removed from her face.
Throughout this time, Alice never lost sight of one single issue: her ambition to find her true partner and live happily ever after. As the years went by, she discovered that not all of her goals were achievable; even with her new body, height, piercings, etc. she was still not happy. She realized that even though she had achieved so much in her life, that it was still not a match for what she wanted out of life. And finally as she neared the end of her twenties, a realization came to her; maybe in order to find true happiness, she needed to leave her country, return to the very place where she began all those years ago… Brazil!
