Nationality: Adriana Santiago is American by birth, but dedicated to her country and her family as she has said many times. She was born in Berlin, Maryland and raised in Texas. She was a National Junior Soccer Team (soccer) player with the Fort Worth soccer club in Texas before transferring to VaSID in Virginia, where she plays her heart out for the soccer team. Adriana became a U.S. Citizen in 2021 and currently enjoys playing for the Men’s National Team (USMNT).

Nationality: Adriana is originally from Sudbury, Virginia – but does not really feel American. The reason for this is because she feels Spanish by birth. That does not make her a Spaniard, per se, since she is a Puerto Rican by choice. Her birth country, however, did register her at the International Olympic Committee Athletes (IOCA) as a male athlete when she competed in the men’s team competition, which she won. Adriana has always said that she considers herself a Puerto Rican by birth, and not a Puerto Rican-American by choice.
