High Sierra Freewheel 17 Laptop Wheel Backpack Review

The High Sierra Freewheel 17 laptop bag is a simple but sturdy backpack. It has some excellent features and the right size to carry a laptop. But you will also see that the backpack does not fold up very well, or that it collapses very easily. It is heavy and bulky for a backpack of this size.

In spite of this, the backpack does have some good features that I really like. First, there is plenty of room to store a number of items. On the inside of the bag there is a removable battery with an AC adapter. There are plenty of compartments for storage as well as mesh pockets to help protect the laptop from getting banged up. On the outside, there is a very large pocket with a zipper pull that allows the laptop to be held securely with a belt clip.

My biggest complaint is that the backpack looks too plain. It does not stand out as much as other models in the same price range. It would look better on an outdoor laptop bag, or a designer-style bag that features a lot of different colors. But overall I am not a big fan of this design. I think that the next step up from High Sierra would be something I would more likely be happy with. In addition, the High Sierra Freewheel 17 laptop bag does not have much padding on the shoulder straps which can be a problem for laptop users who need to keep their device between their legs during travel.
