Socko Energy Drink is made by San Diego-basedaceutical and bio-tech firm VPI Pharmaceuticals, which also make Lipodyne Energy Drinks and Boost. Both drinks are diet and exercise beverages designed to help people “maintain or boost their energy throughout the day,” according to the VPI website. Fashion energy drink is an alternative health beverage similar to the popular diet and exercise drinks sold in the health food stores. Unlike VPI’s own energy drink, Fashion’s is not marketed towards older, physically inactive adults. Rather, it targets the “athletic crowd.”
Fashion’s energy drinks are comparable to VPI’s diet and exercise drinks in that they both have received favorable reviews from medical professionals and consumers. Like VPI, Socko Energy Drink is available in several different flavors, including a fruity flavor for those on a diet, and a citrus flavor that is supposed to be “more authentic tasting” than VPI’s regular lemon and lime flavor. It also has a Malt extract to add texture and flavor. Socko’s website advertises that the drink is “packed with flavor” and is a “great thirst quencher” as well as being “an all day pick me up” (it contains caffeine).
The Socko business hasn’t yet seen the same amount of success enjoyed by VPI, but it is nonetheless a healthy beverage to give as a gift. The energy drink market is relatively new compared to other energy drinks, so there isn’t a significant amount of research supporting the claims of VPI’s and Fashion’s ability to revitalize your body. However, those who have tried both drinks agree that Socko beats F expend at every turn! And the taste is second to none!
