Partner is an up and coming national online boutique that sells authentic and vintage clothing and accessories at rock bottom prices. The company was founded by Abigail Bell, who studied interior design at the prestigious Fashion Institute of America in New York City. After getting out of the program, she decided to launch her own line of vintage inspired clothing and started her retail store Abigail & Partner: Home of the Best Dresses, Bags & Belts in early 2009.

Partner has two locations in New York City: One is located in the East Village of Manhattan, the other in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is located near the East Village hip hop district and is just a few blocks from both the Grammercy Park area and the Bayside subway station. Both areas have a reputation for being a hot spot for vintage style boutiques, so it was a pretty good choice for Partner. As far as the products go, the company markets both “vintage” -style dresses and casual garments. Although the store is primarily known for its vintage inspired line, the Bell family has also dabbled in traditional men’s and women’s apparel. If you are in the market for classic to modern separates, you won’t be disappointed by what you see at Partner: Home of the Best Dresses.

A lot of the vintage clothing at Partner comes from the collections of Bell’s former designs for other companies. So far, she has worked with brands like Bloch, Carrier and Ralph Lauren. The great thing about working with these top brands is that you can feel confident that your jackets, suits and shirts will always be made using the highest quality materials and in beautiful, unique styles. The company aims to make each vintage product as unique and original as possible, so that every customer feels like they’ve found a one-of-a-kind, long-lasting garment. The good news is that you don’t have to wear that vintage item all the time; in fact, if you get a chance to see some of the items in use, you should definitely snap them up!
