The most recent trendy jeans fashion trends are all about layering, and this year we are seeing more denim layers being introduced to the fashion industry. Take the skinny jeans that are currently dominating the market for example; they were initially designed as long narrow tapered jeans with zippers up the side. However, the designers found it difficult to create a style of jeans that were fashionable and at the same time did not reveal one’s midsection. Therefore, they began to use lighter fabric material, called chenille for the layering of denim on the lower legs and in the thighs, mixed with denim for the remaining part of the leg and using a lot of sheer cloth on the front to hide the unnecessary fat.

The new trends for this year are about layered denim clothing, particularly the denim jackets which are taking the denim market by storm. The new jacket looks similar to the original but is now manufactured in a wide range of colors, allowing you to wear it with different outfits and create many new looks by layering different types of denim. Another new type of denim jacket that is very popular is the cropped jacket that is now coming back into fashion. This type of jacket is similar to the skinny jeans jacket but instead of being long, it usually comes with a tapered shape that covers the upper half of the body. The cropped jacket gives the appearance of a tailored jacket without having to take away from your silhouette.

Other denim fashion trends for this season include the ever so popular boot cut jeans, which are being used by both men and women. As the name suggests, these jeans cut the leg of the jeans at the ankle, forming a perfect shape that is extremely flattering. At the same time, people also are wearing their old school tee again, as they look extremely stylish and smart when paired with the right type of blouse. While these trends may be about to fade away, it is always fun to experiment with different types of denim to create your own individual fashion trends.
