1990’s Hip Hop Fashion Trends

The 1990’s hip hop fashion trends have shaped modern society and continue to do so. Everyone from pop celebrities to country musicians are seen sporting trendy haircuts, funky clothing, and earphones. The key factor to the success of this particular style of fashion is that it represents an individualism unlike any other. It is also considered by many to be a very rebellious lifestyle. This particular style of fashion was first introduced to the world during the early months of the 1990’s during the” Roc La Familia” music and rap movement.

The 90’s hip hop fashion trends were seen on many corners of America, particularly on the streets of Los Angeles and New York. It can be assumed that this particular fashion style did not gain popularity in the United States until the mid to late 1990’s. During this period of time many celebrities were spotted sporting fashionable urban attire such as baggy jeans, baggy shirts, fitted caps, tees, and large bracelets.

There are those who believe that this fashion fad simply died out because it simply had not caught on in the same way that other fashion styles had. On the contrary, it has continually gone from one year to the next. Many people from all walks of life and of many different ethnic backgrounds have been seen wearing hip hop clothing. Today, it is still possible to find many individuals walking around with these fashionable accessories, some of which can be very expensive.
