Fashion is an interesting thing in the fashion world because it is more than just dressing up to look good. Fashion is an art form that many people take up, and some people study carefully to create new styles, and some people just let fashion trends happen, and guess what – it usually looks pretty good! So let’s take a quick look at some of the fashion trends from 1988.
The year before this year’s fashion trends, there was one fashion trend that everyone seemed to fall in love with – the tie. Ties were very popular for both men and women, and they were available in every color imaginable. And because there are so many colors, ties can go perfectly with virtually any outfit, so you would be surprised at how many different looks you could pull off with a nice shirt and a nice tie. This year, though, things are a little different. Because ties aren’t as popular, and since they weren’t popular enough in 1988, it seems like a pretty boring year to make a fashion statement with ties.
So we have the tie as a trend that fizzled out, and we also have some pretty cool leather boots that will only go together if there is an entire theme around them. And speaking of trends, this year’s “it” fashion for men includes various shades of greys and blacks, as well as some bolder patterns and textures. So what do you think?
