Gabrielle is an artist, known for her paintings of post-apocalyptic scenes set in the wastelands of our nation. She is a very accomplished woman with an intriguing sense of humor. I was very excited to see “Gabrielle” a woman who has achieved the pinnacle of physical prowess in height, yet still possesses the intelligence and sensitivity of a true vagabond. Height seems to be a part of our culture where we pride ourselves on being taller than others. Her book is a marvelous piece of literature, rich in imagery and portraying our national culture and accomplishments at many levels of maturity.

“Gabrielle” is a forty-year-old mother of two who has dedicated her life to the study of art, which is both a form of and expression of herself. Her artwork is a commentary on our culture and our national identity. She is an artist’s creator and has a gift for capturing the human essence in all its forms. Her artwork centers on topics such as nature and spirituality, life, love, family and faith, but she clearly states that she has little interest in commercial, political or otherwise societal themes. The subject matter is too much for her. ” Gabrielle ” is a true vagabond with no past and no present.

She describes her family as poor but shares her father’s passion for art. She has a long distance boyfriend and is studying with an art school, while making occasional house calls from her loft apartment. She clearly states that she has no interest in a relationship involving sexual intimacy and expresses frustration with her lack of ability to attain the heights that she desires in height. She is clearly a beautiful woman who is trying to balance her career and her personal life while making the most of both. In “Gabrielle” the author tells us that relationships are frequently trial and error and are often doomed from the start due to insufficient time and opportunity. The book ends by inviting readers to search out their own versions of a fulfilling and rewarding career and life.
