Casey Schreffler is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was adopted and raised by German immigrants. He attended Lackaween High School, where he played football and basketball before graduating in 1980. After high school, he joined several other groups that would go on to become known as the Yardbirds, including the Beach Boys, Highway to Hell, Porch Swirlin’ original band, and more. He also briefly tried his hand at being a boxer, but lost out to eventual winner Muhammad Ali.

In the mid 1980s, Casey Schreffler decided to try for the United States citizenship needed to gain entry into the United States as a citizen. Due to his national origin, he was disqualified from this process due to his height (5 ft 9 ins). However, in 1988 the United States Congress changed the law so that all nationalities could still be accepted. This led to Schreffler gaining citizenship and living in Ohio. He has since been involved with numerous bands, most notably Porch Swirlin’ The Night before he changed his name to Casey Schreffler and changed his career. Now, he is best known as a singer-songwriter, having released four studio albums and a number of self-written songs.

Regardless, of what you think of his nationality, Casey Schreffler definitely has his place as a member of The Night before he changed his name. His experience as a National American has been both valuable and invaluable. He has created his own music and has managed to break in without the help of a record label. If you enjoy his music and know that you want to be included in his story, now is the time to do it!
