In 2021, Claire travelled to Denmark to undertake a four-year fellowship at the Copenhagen School of Economic Policy. This fellowship provided her with the opportunity to conduct fieldwork and contribute to a comparative literature research project focusing on the question of nationality, gender and age discrimination in the labour market in Denmark. This research project brought to light the limitations and problems facing the young and ethnic minority women in the labour force in Denmark compared to the experiences of the majority group. This work has been concluded with recommendations concerning the introduction of laws providing protection for the discriminated against in the employment market.
