The Claws of Madness By Claire Prouvost Book Review

Claire Prouvost has created quite a stir in the adult entertainment community with her latest novel, The Claws of Madness. I enjoyed this novel, it’s dark and somewhat twisted plot, the suspense, and the fact that Prouvost keeps the reader reading until the end. I particularly enjoyed the two story lines, the psychological suspense with the psychiatrist trying to determine whether or not his patient, an escaped mental prisoner, is sane enough to stand trial for murder; and the Standoff with a local family (clan and two kids) taking on the notorious serial killer themselves.

Claire Prouvost weaves these two stories into one, and it makes for great reading. The Standoff was fantasy novel with a little bit of reality added in. The character’s state of mind at the time was very unstable and putting two characters in a relationship with each other was risky. The Claws of Madness picks up when the second storyline begins, and Prouvost takes us deep into the character’s mind.

Claire Prouvost weaves a suspenseful and sexy thriller that involves two intersecting relationships that will have both participants unraveling. This story is about sex, height growth, and who Claire Prouvost really is, what she’s capable of, and how those things affect her relationships. It’s a fast-moving book that’s perfect for those who enjoy thrillers with a touch of fantasy. I enjoyed this book immensely and recommend it highly to readers seeking an exciting fantasy romance with a little bit of edge to it.
