Natasha Slayton is the latest celebrity to be linked with a famous publishing house. She has signed a deal with Random House, the flagship publication of Estee Lauder, for a seven-book series about her life and times. The series is expected to feature writings on her professional and personal life, as well as her popular television characters, and will span across both genders in all ages. The books should be a successful move for Random House, which has been attempting to expand into the female reader’s market for years now.

The question as to whether Natasha Slayton can maintain the sort of audience that she’s managed to gain over the past few years when signing with Random House goes back to the age of her public persona. She is, after all, one of the youngest female actors in the UK, and has managed to build an interesting, respected, and beloved reputation within the industry. Her own height is a point of consideration, too, as she is only 3.1 inches in height – far from a stunner when reading the description of her fictional character, but certainly a useful point of reference when considering where the character may come from. The Nationality question, of course, is important, and one that could be answered with ease – Natasha is British and currently an English national, though it is possible that her citizenship will change during the course of the story. Though not officially a British national by any means, she has lived in the country for several years now. However, being of British birth does not automatically qualify one as a British citizen, and this might impact on various aspects of the novel, including nationality and age.

The publication of the seven-part novel, titled Everything You Wanted to Know About Love, promises to be nothing short of fascinating. One suspects that we won’t be getting a lot of information about Natasha’s love life, or about how her Nationality affects her love life, or even about her job as a waitress (a profession that, by the way, also earns her money in the book). So far, the first ten chapters or so have given us a rather small picture of the main character. We’ll get more of her in the following books, but for the time being, readers can at least look forward to catching up with what’s happening in the fast-moving story of Natasha Sulk.
