Eliana Dide de Santacruzan, the forty-year-old Nationality of Dominican Republic, is already a famous personality having several biographies and articles in different newspapers in the said nationality. A Dominican woman’s main occupation is to raise her kids as a family. However, at the age when her marriage with Jose Maria del Riego ended, she began working as a model. She has appeared in many ad campaigns, catalogs and other catalogs with her son. But, her most impressive works were written for the stage and screen with her stage play, “The Nutcracker”.
The Nutcracker was an outstanding play all throughout the years and became a classic. Theatre lovers can find this play almost in every major cities around the globe. In the year 2000, Eliana Dide visited Spain and Mexico for the honors with the same character as what we see in the Nutcracker. The performance was very successful all throughout the audiences from the Mexican to the Spanish speaking countries. Aside from this role, Eliana Dide has been seen in many movies such as “A Woman in Love” and “The Perfect Score”.
However, her most recognized and acknowledged role is as a political adviser to the Dominican Republic government. It is widely known by the common people that Eliana Dide is a member of the Liberal Party in the country. She has been able to accomplish all these without letting any differences in her profession and personal life. Her dedication in her profession was proven by her being the first woman to hold a senior position in the Department of Foreign Relations of the Dominican Republic.
