Keeping Up With Exercise Fashion Trends

It seems that there are always new and exciting exercise fashion trends, and the most common question I get asked is “What is next for exercise clothes?”. This is a great question and there really is no one answer that can provide an answer because as everyone who has exercise clothing knows; there is always more to explore. However, as with any fashion trend you will always see a new twist on an old style. One example of this is “boxer shorts” which has been around for some time now and they are finally making a comeback due to the sexy image they have been given by famous athletes.

Another example is “high-waisted pants” which were once considered strictly for gym goers but now they are becoming more popular with the younger generation. The high-waisted look was originally created by rapper 50 cent in the early 2021’s and it has become very popular amongst celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Victoria Beckham. The original design was said to resemble that of a pregnant woman and the introduction of stretchy leggings and skinny jeans which allow for more flexibility is one of the reasons for the popularity. Although this fashion does require you to workout it can also be quite casual and you can find them in many colors and designs such as white/red or white/blue.

When discussing exercise fashion trends I would also like to touch on the issue of support garments such as running shoes, biking shorts, sports bras, cross training apparel, and more. These particular types of fashion are very popular and they have the added bonus of being fashionable while allowing you to do the exercises you love. Many of these garments are also made with comfort and functionality in mind, so they will keep your skin dry during your workouts. There are so many new styles and trends coming out each year and it can be difficult keeping up with them all but if you stick with one that fits your body type and style you should have no problem.
