Born in Uruguay, birthplace of the country’s most celebrated singer, Caroline Grosso is a famous personality both in her native country and in the United States. Grosso has been singing since she was a young child and she has gone on to become one of the best-selling stars in the musical realm. She has also established a successful career as a singer, actress and model. Her first major role was on the musical TV show “Love Boat Live” where she played the role of one of the lead characters, “Teira”. She went on to play different characters in other different projects, such as “My Fair Lady”, “Notrees” and “Raising Helen”.
When Grosso was in her teens, the height between her waist and hips kept on growing, which resulted in her having several issues with her partner. At times, she even considered getting plastic surgery if her height didn’t come under control. Eventually, Grosso decided that a career in modeling was what she wanted and therefore she pursued several different avenues including movie roles and eventually became a member of the cast of “When Harry Met Sally”. After some time, Grosso decided to focus on her career as a singer and therefore she took a break from performing live. It was then that she decided to look into a role as a presenter for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” but this was not successful since her partner at the time was not willing to date someone outside their nationalities.
After a few failed attempts at attempting to get into movies or a musical, Grosso finally decided to look into acting as a way to be more versatile and in order to meet different types of people. She has gone on to star in several well-known films and shows, including “A Christmas Story”, “The Perfect Score” and “Beethoven”, among many others. As a result, Grosso has experienced a long list of famous fanciers including Reese Witherspoon and Meryl Streep. While no current projects have been finalized as of yet, Grosso continues to have a thriving and varied career which has allowed her to enjoy both an artistic and personal life.
