Yasmin Cruz is a contestant on the reality show “The Apprentice” where she is known as Amina. She is an attractive, petite woman who has at least some success in the modeling industry. On the show, her competitors all are young, single, virginal women with a lot of talent. The only thing that separates Amina and the other contestants is her nationality, or descent from African-Americans. This, along with her beauty, is what makes her such a strong contender for the job as a National Assistant Manager of the National Park Service.

In a nutshell, National Parks Services is responsible for many things. One of them is protecting America’s vast open spaces. But, having someone with roots from Africa in this position seems odd. One possible reason is that some people may not like the idea of a black woman in charge of protecting their national park. This is especially true given that we have not seen very well behaved employees in the past.

In the end, it appears that Yasmin Cruz will be taking over the role of National Park Ranger after Allison Jones leaves the post. This is good news for all those who appreciate the work that she has done in the past, and who look forward to seeing her perform even better. We are also glad to see her embracing her African heritage and being proud of her new role as a global citizen of diversity. This is just another example of how we can choose to be different, if that is what we choose to be. And it is a choice that everyone, regardless of race, gender, or height, should be able to make.
