Fernanda Nassa is a famous Colombian actress, known for her beautiful facial features and captivating long hair. She has appeared in more than fifty films and has garnered millions of fans across the globe. Fernanda loves her role as the love interest of Steve Martin in the film Saturday Night Fever. This talented woman has managed to win multiple Emmys for her work and also became the first woman to be listed on the cover of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” list. It is hard to look at Fernanda as just an actor; she has been married to Carlos Alzado, the founder of the Medellin brand, and their son, Alzado Jr., is currently a U.S. Senator.
As Fernanda is very aware of her physical attributes, it is but fitting that she has used her height to her advantage throughout her career. As a character in one of her films, she played a character who was much shorter than the majority of the other characters. The role required that she be on the height of 6′ 3″, which gave her the opportunity to really walk the walk (or talk the talk) and to have some real fun on the screen. In one scene, she was even given a chance to seduce an aging Isabella Stewart Benton (played by Joanna Stayton). Playing such a pivotal part in a movie, where some of the characters are so ridiculously short, makes Fernanda an even more respected name in Hollywood.
Fernanda is also proud of her native nationality, Colombian, and has said that it is her strong sense of pride that allows her to succeed in the film industry in the United States and in Europe. In an interesting line, she has said that growing up as a Cuban girl in Bogota, going to school as a Cuban and living in Spain helped her appreciate her Colombian roots, despite the fact that her birth country had no currency at that time. In the same vein, she has additionally stated that her height and nationality do not affect how she thinks or feels about herself. Her success in life, whether on or off the screen, has been all about her own attitude and choices.
