Although the fashion industry changes from year to year, many of the items which have been fashionable are always timeless. There have been many major fashion trends then and now in the last decade or so. For example, women have always favoured embellished bras; fortunately nowadays these are still readily available and very easy to buy. It is also possible to get them in a range of sizes, unlike more conservative choices a few years ago. Another item of clothing which has experienced a huge upswing in popularity is pants – both trendy jeans and fashionable boot-cut styles are easy to find, and these too come in a huge range of styles, colors and sizes.
The old rules of fashion are certainly changing, but as long as you keep an open mind you shouldn’t have too much trouble keeping up with the latest fashions. Some of the items I mentioned above can’t be worn very easily any more, but they’re certainly flattering and look fantastic on all kinds of figure. Of course, everyone’s skin color and body shape are different, and so everyone will be gravitating towards slightly different trends next season. The key is just to experiment and see what looks good on you. And remember that what looks good on one person may not look so good on someone else.
