Erika Bea was born in Brazil. She is a graduate of Seton High School and currently works as a physical therapist at a clinic in Laguna Beach, California. Born with a birth defect, Erika was made to wear high heels all her life by her family. Since she could not walk the length of a floor on her own, her family would accommodate her by putting her on a stroller for extended walks. In this way, Erika was given the chance to learn to walk on two legs, something that made her attractive to many men in her adolescent years. As an adult, Erika has pursued a variety of careers, most notably in the field of pediatrics.

One of the first things Erika did after becoming a professional physical therapist was to get herself into a real estate brokerage. Eventually, though, she realized that she wanted to do much more than work in an office. “I realized that my passion was in human connection,” she states. She pursued her desire for a higher position in a hospital administration department by going to Pepperdine University, a Christian school whose motto is “honoring God through education”. This led her to an internship in emergency medicine at St. Francis hospital in Los Angeles, CA, where she was able to help countless people during her career.

When her internship ended, Erika Bea decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Public Administration at the Santa Fe College in Albuquerque, NM. Although she had to give up her graduate courses, her major was Hospitality Management and Marketing. After graduating, Erika Bea pursued a position in marketing at The Los Angeles School of Social Service, which serves families in need. There, she gained insight into the social services field through working with homeless families, and as a result, began to develop her own sense of compassion toward others. Today, Erika serves a vital role as a spokesperson for the pro-life movement, speaking out against euthanasia.
