The latest busting film from Japan, “K-On!” revolves around the life of its lead character, Erika Shimii. Erika was a young Japanese girl when her mother was killed by terrorists. She then became a nurse in the Tokyo hospital, and there she met the love of her life, Yui Mako.

But things take an odd turn for Erika when she finds out that her biological father is a World War II war hero, and that he is still alive and is planning to resume his career. This leads Erika to marryitsuji Furuta, a man who wants to make a living as a doctor, but who has no experience in medicine. And since Erika loves Yui and wants to have a family, the two of them are forced to work in their home together, with Erika’s attempts to become a housewife only coming to harm.

Eventually, though, Erika realizes that she wants more in life than a boring career as a nurse. She goes off to join a modeling agency, where her long-time love interest, Yui, also happens to be a well known photographer. With help from her new friend, Reiko Ono, Erika gets the chance to meet and work with several national artists. She meets Takuo Yamashita, who impressed her at the agency, and whom she later starts dating. Later on, Erika realizes that she still loves Yui, and that the two of them should get married, to spend the rest of their lives together.
