Elena Rapti is one of the newest and hottest stars from the Russian scene. Born and raised in what is considered to be the provinces of Tver republic, Elena Rapti was always destined to become a famous Russian beauty, whether on the stage or off. She has had a rather checkered professional history, starting out as a dancer before moving into different areas of acting and even publishing a book under her maiden name, which made little impact despite its rather obvious self-indulgence title. Elena is married to a well-known figure from society, Anatoly, but they have rarely been seen together since she began a relationship with another man, Anton. Their marriage, however, did not take long to sour as Elena began to find the love of her life in the much younger Vassiliy Uddenko. Elena and Anton had a falling out shortly thereafter and Elena only briefly returned to reality while she took care of Uddenko and kept her name a secret, avoiding the public spotlight.

This movie managed to get Elena the role of a lifetime: an agent for the FBI, specializing in catching terrorists.

However, it was a certain type of low-budget film, the epic Barnaul, which really propelled Elena into the limelight, attracting the attention of the Hollywood elite who loved to see Russian stars. Elena played a rather mysterious role as a lover’s wife, however, in this film it was clear that she had a strong emotional attachment to her boyfriend, Alexy Pazhitnov. Elena’s close association with him would cause quite a bit of tension between the two, and it was often Elena who would end up getting hurt while on the job. Once Elena and Alexy got together, however, it seemed as though their love would last them both forever, even when it was apparent that most people didn’t actually believe them.
