Recently, Ashley Rosales was featured in an article in the LA Times in which she discussed how she deals with her Height and Nationality issues. According to the article, Ashley Rosales is a self-proclaimed “do-it-yourselfer,” who has been dating mostly men throughout her life, because she was unaware of the pitfalls that could keep women from finding their perfect romantic partner. She has been paired off with different partners throughout her life, and despite her success in doing so, has always felt like a let-down, writing that she is cursed with being shorter than the men she has dated.
While discussing her case with another woman, it was apparent that the biggest problem for Ash had been her height and nationality. Although the LA Times article implied that she was not consciously aware of the pitfalls that would keep many women from finding their perfect partner, it did seem that she was prone to feeling as if her looks were stopping her from living a full and meaningful life. In her mind, her looks were determining her worth as a partner, and she was constantly looking at herself as lacking some sort of “romance” with someone else. Her struggle with her height and nationalities became such a big issue that it almost derailed her marriage, even though she had been happily married before.
Ashley was not happy with her height and nationalities. She knew that her physical attractions had nothing to do with her partner’s willingness to be with her, but it seemed that this was something she could not escape. Age and marriage problems can be difficult to overcome, but as Ashley learned, there is hope. If you have marital problems now or think you might, talk to your doctor. Your doctor may be able to prescribe some hormones that will temporarily give you the appearance of youth and make you feel more attractive.
