Ashley Sundquist is a professional American actor who has been in the industry for many years. He has appeared in a lot of Hollywood movies including High School Confidential and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. In these movies he played the role of Dean Wormer, an attorney at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAAPC) where he was the head of the Office of Legal Analysis. The role of Dean Wormer required an unusual height which Ashley Sundquist had to possess in order to fulfill his part; therefore in the movie he became known as Mr. Tall.

In the second film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ashley Sundquist plays the character of Peter Thaxter who has the same height as his American partner Ashley. While filming the film Mr. Thaxter met with an accident and became very short. After being informed of his short height by his associate, Ashley Sundquist went to Seattle to have some more height enhancing surgery but on the day of his surgery he decided to go to New York to return to Los Angeles. During this time, his associate asked him to do some acting so as to help him in getting a role in Hollywood, and in this role he was casted in the first of the three movies of the film franchise called the Soul Mate series. He worked in this movie as the older partner of Naomi Watts, who is played by Anne Hathaway.

In the third film of the series he was again called as the partner of Ms. Watts and in this film as well, he gained another inch on his height. This was probably due to the fact that Soul Mate was made after the two actors completed the whole cast for the third film. However, it seems that Ashley’s extra inch was not enough for him to land his role as the partner of Naomi and in the fourth film Soul Mate, he was given another inch on his height by making an appearance in the action-packed finale of the film. Whatever the reason, Ashley Sundquist is an actor who has enjoyed great success in Hollywood and after all these years has not lost his nationality or sense of nationality even though he has appeared in countless movies.
