Tall Women – Is Ashley Quiroz For Real?

Ashley Quiroz is a British national and the tallest ever to have achieved a double chin in the UK. She is also the oldest female ever to have that mark, at the age of ninety-one years and a half. The press have nicknamed her “piteous Quirky” due to her perpetually smiling face, and she loves meeting new people and making new friends – something which she has done since her engagement with Steve Redgrave (also taller than her) nearly twenty years ago. But it is her much smaller stature that makes the public relate her to even a much shorter person such as Princess Diana, who was famous for her height and her Englishness.

In an attempt to combat her lack of height, Ashley has tried wearing longer dresses and high heels, but to no avail. She said that she feels more confident in her petite stature, and she would not change her profession for any reason. Her partner of many years, Steve Redgrave, agreed with her assessment, adding that his grandmother was about six feet, and he was not much taller himself. They have since become life partners, and now spend most of their time anniversary shopping, or gardening, rather than hanging out with friends. Ashley, however, still feels insecure about her height, and she admits she sometimes worries that she might grow even shorter. However, if you ask her if she would give up her job as a property market analyst in order to live the life of a short woman, she replies with a firm, “No.”

The Pinay’s (as she likes to call them), are very understanding towards this charming British lady who has become their idol, due to her beauty, personality and her incredible charm. Even her own mother, who is very much tall, commented on one episode of her show that Ashley is “so pretty”. So, it seems that not only does Ashley have big dreams but she has big shoes to fill too – tall enough to have fun! Her website contains a page dedicated to her, where she is willing to answer any questions that her fans might have. In fact, she says that she gets so many email messages asking her how she is, or wishing her a good day, that she now tries to delete the mails.
