Angelica Corporal is a character from the Nationality: Filipino series. She is the Filipina partner of National Treasure Tom yam and is the second highest ranked serving soldier in the Philippines Army. Her rank means she is presently the highest ranking female corporal in the Philippines Army. She is also the only Filipino woman ever to be appointed as a member of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) in the Palace of President Aquino.
She has a serious health condition that forces her to miss several weeks of school in every year. Being the lowest ranking algo in the PSG, Angelica has been given a stressful duty of taking care of the welfare of her husband while she is in town for her official duties. This has caused her physical and emotional stress, thus forcing her into self-care mode.
She has been given the task of making sure her husband does not suffer from a bad back because of working so hard in the public works sector. She is also tasked to make sure that their son, Marky, continues his education and enjoys himself while he is away at college. She is also responsible in helping her husband prepare for work in the radio department, despite the fact that he is her little son. When Angelica finally returned to her hometown, her mother, her only daughter, started to worry that her mother is too busy with work and taking care of her daughter to focus on tending to her own health condition, causing Angelica to miss out on what would be an otherwise very important family holiday.
