Juliane Seyfarth is an Austrian ski jumpsetter. Born in Austria, she started to take part in winter sports when she was young. Later, she went on to participate and win international competitions. At the age of eighteen, she made her first steps onto the podium. Since then, she has gone on to become one of Austria’s best-known athletes, known not only for her performance on the ski jumps but also for her roles in movies. Her numerous achievements on the slopes have earned her the title of “Snowboarding Austrian champion”.
Juliane began her skiing career at the age of sixteen when she won a competition for the spotter position. After this, she also started to train for the downhill jump before going on to compete in the freestyle section. As a result of her victories, she earned herself a spot on the Austrian team that represented Germany at the World Cup skiing events. Despite this, Juliane still preferred to focus on the Alpine skiing aspect of the sport as opposed to the downhill.
After making a decision to turn her attention towards the Nordic skiing area, she once again turned her attention towards the height. In 2021, Juliane was already a member of the Austrian team that was participating at the world cup when they were forced to pull out of the competition due to the threat of a virus outbreak. After this, she then became the first female Alpine skier to conquer the French competition when she made a successful attempt at the slope of La Bussiere. She was also responsible for helping to establish the French women’s ski jumping event, which helped to popularize the sport in the country. The International Olympic Committee has also given the green light to Juliane Seyfarth to compete in the Olympic Games since she passed the competitive height requirements during the preliminary stages.
