For as long as I can remember, the Toboggan Hat has been a part of my wardrobe. I grew up in the mountains and we had a tradition of building a wood cabin as our summer home. My father always made sure that our guests knew that they were welcome to come for a visit and stay for a week if they so chose, and because of this tradition, we had a great supply of hats for winter and fall:
Then one day I was shopping at Walmart looking for a new hat when I saw a black and white striped Toboggan hat. I couldn’t help myself and bought it on impulse. I wore it proudly for a few months until I decided that I needed a new hat because my head was getting too hot in the summer sun and I needed a different look. The change was perfect, I just needed a new style.
The next time I saw a nice black and white striped hat like the one I purchased, I decided that I had to have it. The internet was full of great fashion ideas, but none of them quite fit me like the Toboggan Hat. I wasn’t content with just wearing the hat for fashion sake, I wanted to be more than just a fashion head. So I began to search for all kinds of ways to wear the hat so that I could add my own personal touch to it. After a long search, I discovered that I didn’t have to look far to find a great head accessory. A great and very affordable way to make a real fashion statement was to accessorize with the Tubby Hat.
