Marie-paola Bertrand-Hillion, the twenty-year-old French actress and fashion designer was recently chosen as a member of France’s Walk of Fame. Her first brush with Hollywood came during the late sixties, when her then agent, Bernard Mucha, represented director Richard Curtis. The director assigned Bertrand to his movie unit in New York, which made her one of his main models for that era. Her career spanned five decades and even included a turn in the musical, West Side Story. During the late eighties, she also appeared in the film A Christmas Carol, and later in movies such as Grease and Saturday Night Fever.

Though her official Paris record still lists her height as nineteen inches, pictures have suggested otherwise. In an episode of the television sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, Bertrand was listed by Medical Daily News as six feet three inches. No matter how or who’s right, that measurement does seem oddly low. It is also worth considering that her real name isMarie-France Boucher-ARBOUR.

It appears that there are conflicting accounts concerning the height of Marie-paola Bertrand-Hillion. On the one hand, one magazine claimed that she was six feet two inches in height; and on the other hand, another magazine reported that she was only four feet eleven inches tall. Whichever version is correct, she has, to some extent, become a fashion icon in her own right. Her many roles in films, such as Love Actually and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, have made her a very popular figure in Hollywood. Her many achievements, ranging from acting to fashion design, have also earned her a considerable number of awards, most notably an Academy Award for Best Actress in 2021 for her role as Miss Catherine Zeta-Jones in the Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
