It was these two things that would begin to form the plot lines of her five published children’s books that would make her a name in the world of comic book creator. It was while attending college in Paris, however, where she would meet her first true love. While studying abroad in Rome that she would realize there were many other cultures on this wonderful and exotic island and that she was attracted to the culture of Italy. When it came time to apply for citizenship in Italy, however, she discovered that her status as an Italian citizen would disqualify her from receiving a full allowance from the government which was necessary for pursuing a career in a professional capacity such as a teacher.

She then decided to apply for citizenship despite the fact that she did not have the funds to do so and was forced to give up her teaching career. This would set the wheels in motion for Iezzi to discover and hone her entrepreneurial spirit and create her very own comic book publishing company that would launch her into a career that would encompass both worlds. Although applying for citizenship was not the only thing that prompted Iezzi to found her very own publishing house, it was a huge step that marked the beginning of her long and interesting career as a comic book creator. Today, her work is sold around the world and has been turned into numerous best-sellers.
