Paola Baldion is a Colombian actress, best known for her starring role as Corin in the movie Portraits. She is also the only child of Raoul Baldon and Claudia Fischer. Baldon’s character in Portrait was played by Carolina Castillo, who at the time was best known for playing opposite Rodolfo Velasquez in the soap opera called La Familia. Baldion was in fact introduced to the world through her father’s movies, as he worked on the same project with his sister, also a famous actress. From there, Baldion studied in Bogotalo, Colombia, for two years, getting acquainted with such well-known directors as Carlos Fresco and Paco Romano.

In her final year, Baldion graduated from Bogotalo University, specializing in communications and mass communication, and planning to get a degree in political science. But this is not how it happened. Instead, Baldion landed herself an interesting role as Corin in the highly acclaimed Correlation. This role marked Baldion’s entry into the film industry, and from there she has gone on to play similar characters in other successful films such as A Few Good Men, Everybody Loves Raymond, and We Are Marshall.

Age and nationality have nothing to do with Corin. Her name is simply Corin. Paola Baldion is simply a name used by Baldion to identify her nationality, which was a result of her having been born in Colombia. It is interesting to note that Paola Baldion is the only woman in the Correlation (a show about a team of detectives who solve murders) whose real name is Corin, not Paola.
