Gina-Ann Riggs was born in Texas, the youngest of four children of Corin and Lorraine Riggs. Her mother, Corin, worked as a medical transcriptions official in the Fort Worth records department; her father, Lorraine, worked as a painter and illustrator. Gina-ann spent much of her childhood living with her grandparents in their modest home on State Street in Fort Worth. Heightened levels of anxiety were a common result of growing up during these trying times for Gina-ann; however, her family seemed to always have time for each other. As a teenager, she enjoyed the many community activities and extracurricular activities that the area provided; this included playing varsity football with her friends and running track, which she excelled in.
It was these athletic endeavors that caught the eye of an all-campus recruiting service. In January of Gina’s senior year, she received a letter of recommendation from a school athletic director, which impressed her parents. The next month, Gina began a two-year career at the University of Texas, where she became known as one of the country’s top volleyball players and was named All-conference First Team by the Associated Press. Following her graduation, Gina entered the Miss Universe pageant, which she narrowly missed winning, but she was named the Miss Universe in 2021.
Today, Gina is a married mother of three; she has been able to maintain her professional and personal life while fulfilling her passion of being a champion model. In addition to her multiple appearances on television, such as Late Night with David Letterman, Gina has also had some small roles in movies such as Bridesmaids, The Perfect Storm, and The Secret Life of Bees. Her credits also include appearing in numerous television commercials for various different companies.
