Ingrid Darce is a young woman of Turkish descent who is currently residing in England with her British husband. Born and raised in Turkey, Ingrid was married to a Greek father while growing up in Greece. She has also lived in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Netherlands, and has obtained the citizenship of Republic of Turkey. The wedding that took place in Turkey was Ingrid’s first marriage, although she claimed to have been widowed during an unspecified event.

Although Ingrid was raised in Europe, she now identifies more than a person from the Mediterranean, especially Greece, Italy, and Spain. The couple met when the groom asked her to marry him, and their relationship developed over the course of several months until they were finally ready to exchange vows. Although the bridegroom’s side wanted to use a traditional Muslim wedding, Ingrid insisted on using a Greek Orthodox ceremony, which did not clash with the groom’s religion at all. The bridegroom also used his birthdate as his reason for marriage, which Ingrid thought would help his case because the groom was already of age.

Once the marriage ceremony was performed and the reception was underway, the bridegroom’s brother brought Ingrid’s mother and the other women of the family to observe the occasion. While everybody was happy for the newlyweds, the father of the groom immediately began to worry about Ingrid’s safety in England, since he could not travel abroad to be with his bride if anything happened. He arranged for Ingrid to stay with him and his wife while they were away on vacation, which allowed them time to plan for a better marriage than could have been possible with the man already in residence. It is unknown whether or not the groom paid for his own flight but Ingrid’s mother was extremely grateful for the gesture and accepted the offer.
