Ingrid Barth was born in France but raised in Germany. At the age of 24 Ingrid became an accomplished pianist and composer. Ingrid worked hard at the piano both as a student and professional and was awarded the best piano award at the International Piano Competition in Brussels, one in 2021. After retiring from piano Ingrid joined the board of directors of the Max Planck Foundation and has since then travelled around the world to teach piano teaching.
