When the 1960’s were still fresh in our mind, everyone had no clue what would come next, but we have known it was going to change everything for sure. The 1960’s were a decade when men had started changing their look and style from the earlier fashions of jeans and jackets to suits and more professional type clothing. The changes in fashion during that decade can be seen from clothes to shoes to even handbags. No longer were men limited to wearing ties, but they were seen more fashionable. Men’s fashion trends moved from being conservative to bold and everything in between.

1960’s men saw the birth of rock and roll as a popular musical genre that was sweeping across the United States. This made men want to wear clothing that was akin to what rock stars were wearing. Men’s fashion trends also took a major turn toward wearing clothing that was colorful and hip. Men were no longer content to wear clothing that simply covered their body and did not make them feel good about themselves. Now, fashion was not a style but rather an accessory that helped them feel better about themselves.

After the 1960’s there was no turning back with the changes that were happening in the world of fashion. Men’s fashion had once again changed for the better. Men of all ages wore clothing that was trendy and different. Even if they were wearing a suit, there was no reason why it should not be different from what they were wearing in their everyday life. The change was so profound that today there is a new style in suits and other formal clothing and that is clean cut and simple design. It is still fashionable yet very appealing.
