Many people consider 1960 clothing fashion trends to be a thing of the past, and rightly so. This is primarily due to the fact that the style that was practiced during those years did not really have any sort of broader appeal to it. People were actually quite content with dressing in very basic, drab patterns and colors for their entire lives. The designs and styles that they did choose however, were generally limited to patterns such as those that are seen on today’s popular fashion designs.

The 1960’s clothing fashion trends were all about the designs that were popular among people who were younger at the time. It was in this fashion that gave us some of the most recognizable icons of the decade. This would include symbols like the stars, the movies, and even the signature slogan of “Lets get wild”. This was a clothing style that was all about being outrageous and making sure that people really were not concerned with the way that the clothing looked on them. They were more concerned with the way that the clothing made them feel about themselves.

Some of the most well known designs from this era of clothing were the hippie fashions. These were designs such as the hippie t-shirt, and the long hair. People were not worried about the fact that these clothing were unconventional or even a bit strange, they just knew that they were cool. If you were lucky enough to have a great looking piece of clothing in one of these designs, then you could always go on to use it for an entire decade. Of course, as times changed and became more sophisticated, the 1960 clothing fashion trends were quickly overtaken by those that were more contemporary.
